OK… a while back, I picked up a free “recent referrals” javascript from TrueFresco, and put it in my sidebar. It’s really handy quick-glance look at your referrals. It seems that they are now putting an ad at the bottom of the list. I understand that since I’m using their bandwidth, they should be able to make some kinda money – after all, I’m not paying them anything (other than a link back). Unfortunately, the ad does not really fit in the sidebar, and screws up the layout. So I was looking for another alternative, when I found Miss Information, who is having the same problem, but in two languages. She found a (temporary, anyway) solution – use TrueFresco’s 5 day list – it has no ads (yet). I’ll switch to it now, lose the current list of referrals, and hopefully this will take care of it. Please let me know if you recommend any particular “recent referral” plug-in.
