what’s next
One year ago yesterday, I started this blog with this note: Let’s see how long this lasts. Obviously, I still don’t know what I’m doing. But some of you keep coming back anyway: As of this morning, I’ve had 16,717 unique visitors who looked at a total of 24,935 pages. That’s more than I ever imagined. And a few of you have sent kind words my way, and that is nice, too.
I’m thinking about making some changes around here. I originally wanted to focus on local stuff. And for the most part, I’ve done that. But since this is a non-paid venture, I don’t feel like I can quite get to everything I’d like, so I’m considering a narrower focus. I could center just on Ybor City. Or Brandon. Or one topic, such as nightlife. Or live music. Or local government. And although I feel that keeping an eye on the County Commission is important, it’s really not exciting at all (Ronda’s antics excepted).
So, what do you think? You folks who have read this Tampa blog more than a couple times: Please give your opinion in the comments below. Leaving your thoughts won’t take much time, but it could help me to decide the future of this spot.
Thanks to all of you for stopping in.
