Here are some things I’d like to do in relation to this new website, but may never come to fruition:
Need a cool logo/gravatar. My brother Mike is working on this.
RadioBlog - to come shortly after site is launched.
Advertising - to come with site launch.
History of Tampa pages (there will be a category, but wiki-type pages would be cool) - some time after launch.
Would love to have an “upcoming events” page.

hey, is the logo supposed to be like the header? and do you know what size it should be?
I do like that you used the “blogspot” remover and now you have just sticks of fire dot com
I’m thinking lightning and the skyline…. or a tobacco leaf and a banana boat. well, gotta go pay some bills.

No, the logo is not the header. the logo will be a small square or round shaped avatar. Think McDonald’s M, think the NBC Peacock, think the Olympics five rings, think Subway’s Jarod. No don’t think of jarod. Make it big, I can shrink it.

Hey, what about a stripper on a fishing boat holding a cigar while a lightning bolt strikes it lit in front of a minaret, while a nearby pirate waves a buc flag hanging from a palm tree.
Perhaps just a traffic jam. Or sprawl.

The whole header / logo thing has been a pain in the ass to deal with. For some reason, it’s virtually impossible to have a logo in the header instead of an image background and text placed over it.
If I found a good picture of Tampa’s downtown and Lightning flashing through it, I would have used that. I’m the one that used another image (with the buildigns and the palm trees) for the time being.
I figure Tommy oculd ask the readers for input or even to design a logo for the site…. Make it a contest….
