rededication ceremony goes on (and on…)
The Franklin St. Mall surrounded by the old “Quad Block” has been renamed for former mayor Bill Poe. A bunch of x-mayors, the entire Poe Financial Group, and various other good old boys are all sitting in the hot sun listening to a wonderful ceremony. Basically, from this point forward, the brick/garden/fountain area between One Tampa City Center and the Hyatt Regency Tampa will be known as William F. Poe Plaza.
