Tommy Tutone was on TV last night, performing their monster hit 867-5309/Jenny for the Hit Me Baby 1 More Time program. Band member Jimmy James (watch the speaker volume!) now lives in Tampa booking bands at Green Iguana (speaker alert!) and performs at Stumps Supper Club (again with the volume) with the Velvet Explosion. You may have also heard him play with the British Invasion- inspired Shaguars. James decided to be a musician after watching an episode of “The Monkees.”
