Hillsborough Circuit Judge Gregory Holder was cleared of plagiarizing a research paper. It was obvious (to me, anyway) that without the original report there would be no way to find against him, what with the idea of “reasonable doubt” and all that.
As to his declaration of being framed, I’m less certain. With ongoing investigations targeting F. Dennis Alvarez, Robert H. Bonanno, and Rocky Rodriguez for various things, it’s not out of the question. But inquiries on those three have been going on for four years. You would think some scandal would have been uncovered by now.
Unless, of course, you are into conspiracy theories that suggest the investigators are being paid as well.
