There’s a hurricane in the Caribbean. Last night’s forecast puts Hurricane Dennis’ path slightly west of Key West, with eventual landfall at Pensacola. The category 4 storm is already pounding Cuba, and Hurricane Alley shows the wind shear is expected to just brush by Tampa Bay.
Governor Bush declared a state of emergency, and all tourists have been evicted from Key West. Residents are entrenched and ready for the worst. Some may blog right through it.
