we have a great airport
In addition to being ranked near the top in customer satisfaction, Tampa Airport ranks number one in the country for business efficiency. What this means in regular words is that airlines are getting a fair deal in fees they pay to use the airport, which in turn helps to keep your fares at a reasonable price. At least I think that’s what it means.

I agree! I’ve always thought we have one of the best in the country. Its design just makes sense and it flows very easily.

TPA is #2 in my mind to Columbus, OH (CMH) which is such an awesome airport that I miss flying from it. I was fortunate to over a four year period fly a dozen times from CMH. TPA is pretty great… remote parking is a bit expensive and the monorail/security system kind of sucks. but i’m spoiled by CMH, where I once showed up at the door with 16 minutes until my flight, tossed the keys to the valet, and walked to my gate with plenty of time to spare.

I like TIA the best — easy to get around, always smells like fresh cinnamon buns, and the overhead muzak can be amusingly schizophrenic sometimes.

Note to Tim: I don’t believe your story about getting to the gate at Columbus airport in 16 minutes, unless of course it was years before 9/11/01. If it’s so great why don’t you fly back there for good (edited by admin).

Note to Dick: If you’re going to make disparaging remarks, at least have the guts to use a real email address.
