After the Tribune chastised Storms for constantly pulling the “Liar Card,” Ronda sent her aide and faithful sidekick Audi Canney to her defense. You may remember Audi; she believes that Storms is God’s Gift to Hillsborough County.

Awestruck Audi spoke to the Trib’s editorial board to back up Ms. Storms’ contention that Nadine Smith’s website had indeed made false claims. The Trib followed Captivated Canney’s instructions, and was unable to find anything attributed to Nadine Smith or any official with Pride is Back or Equality Florida, where Smith is Executive Director.

The exercise in futility prompted the newspaper to reprimand Storms again, noting the extent Storms and her devoted admirer will go to distort a discussion.

I don’t fault Ronda Storms for the positions she takes. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and many in her district are happy with her results. It’s the delivery I can’t stand.

Oh, and Ronda… You can’t bully the newspaper.
