tommyThe Weekly Planet extended voting for the Best of the Bay, but only to tomorrow. If you like what we do here, I encourage beseech you to vote for Sticks of Fire as your favorite local blog. If you don’t like what we do here, maybe you should vote for Midnight Culmination. She wants to win really, really, really bad (passing out flyers?).
We don’t condone stuffing the ballot box, but you can get free email addresses from yahoo, hotmail, and others. Plus I have dozens of invites for free gmail accounts. Comment if you want one.
To discourage said stuffing, WP insists you vote in at least 17 categories. If you need help with other “bests,” check out my previous suggestions.

It doesn’t mean nothing! I agree it doesn’t mean anyone in particular is really the “best” because I think the top contenders are pretty different from eachother anyway, but it definitely means that local bloggers can be an influential and respected group! Which is an idea I like very, very much! I think there should be all types of mainstream media recognition of blogs. All types!

Perhaps “nothing” is being taken too literally. If I really felt it were “nothing,” I wouldn’t be pimping it.
