tommyrachel* called me Thursday at lunchtime. “We’re superstars! Let’s go stand on a corner and hand out *TBT” she said.
And that’s where we met Tom, one of the owners of Nebulous Records and Got Pizza? Tom had heard of blogs, but didn’t know exactly what they were. After r* and I explained it a little, Tom came up with the perfect short answer: It’s an online soapbox. Watch the video.

Rachel* and I’s mutual friend Alisha had herself a little putdown of blogs in our doctoral seminar last week. I was able to get my revenge by bringing up their presence on the cover of tbt. It didn’t really convince anyone, but whatever, it’s still a good topic for my research paper.
