tommyRight on the heels of reports that a female teacher, Jaymee Willis engaged in sexual acts with a female student, comes an arrest today of yet another female teacher, Amy Gail Lilley, for having sex with a female student. Amy Lilley taught in Citrus County at Lecanto High.
These two join Debra LaFave, Citrus County’s Tammy Lee Huggins, and a list of others recently arrested.
Expect the circus to continue.

Here’s my two cents - word from teachers at Wharton is that Jaymee didn’t do it. I haven’t spoken to one teacher who believes this student. And I’m not press. I’m one of them. They’d tell me if this was a dirty teacher. They say this lack of evidence is no accident and that makes me scared to death. If this teacher can be arrested and dragged through the mud - with not a shred of evidence, only hearsay - none of us is safe.

She wouldn’t have been arrested without some evidence. The kid must have made a statement to police with some verifiable info that she would only know from sexual contact. A mole or tattoo or something.
And SDHC certainly can’t ignore allegations of sexual misconduct with a child. The routine is now stick em at Velasco while it settles out. Many of these cases are not publicized.

that’s interesting, kate… I know other teachers who say the exact same thing… Teachers cannot even look at a student for long without fearing this kind of treatment.
