The kid must have made a statement to police with some verifiable info that she would only know from sexual contact. A mole or tattoo or something. And SDHC certainly can't ignore allegations of sexual misconduct with a child. The routine is now stick em at Velasco while it settles out. Many of these cases are not publicized. I haven't spoken to one teacher who believes this student. And I'm not press. I'm one of them. They'd tell me if this was a dirty teacher. They say this lack of evidence is no accident and that makes me scared to death. If this teacher can be arrested and dragged through the mud - with not a shred of evidence, only hearsay - none of us is safe.
