keeping tabs on your reps

Adrian Holovaty just announced WaPo’s new database of each congressman’s voting record. The U.S. Congress Votes Database allows you to keep tabs on the voting records of every representative, broken down by various categories.

For instance, here are this year’s votes by a few local reps:
Michael Bilirakis
Allen Boyd
Corrine Brown
Ginny Brown-Waite
Jim Davis
Adam Putnam

This is really a great tool to keep an eye on those you and your neighbors voted into office. You can even sign up for RSS feeds for each official. What a fantastic project…

Big thank you to Josh Hallett over at the Hyku blog for the alert…

That is pretty nice, you can also look at http://www.vote-smart.org/index.htm which tracks bio info on each memeber as well as voting records by issue.
