“I would almost be amused by the furor over your article about Ronda Storms’ alleged request for a “favor” from a county employee to delay the paperwork for the bikini bar…except some seem to think there’s a story there. Somebody says that somebody did something that nobody can confirm. C’mon, guys. This is Tampa.”
Meaning what? That “alleged favors” are how Tampa gets things done? That it’s okay to do the wink-wink nudge-nudge in Tampa when it’s your team doing the winking? That in Tampa, you don’t need no stinking rules of conduct or ethics or accountability when you think you’re doing the work of Jeeezus?

It means she is drunk with power! The rest of the commison sans Castor wonl;t stop her, nor wil Bean. So she is creeping every day into an out of control pain in the butt. Lok at what she did to the Imagio charity event, like this isue she used her position to wage war and had no concern for the innocient vixtims in her wa, not for the common decency or repspect of her office.
She is medling beyond the scope of her office, and she is in the wrong.
