You may recall we gave a forthcoming transplant some idea of what to expect when moving to Tampa? Well, I came up with another bit of advice after this weekend:
Plan to remove outdoor holiday decorations after dark. It only takes wasps one month to create a new home inside your hanging wreath. They go to sleep at dusk, but that’s when the mosquitoes start swarming.
Something tells me they don’t have to worry about flying insects in Washington, DC in January.
