Is it just my browser or does that Times story have some crazy font thing going on?
How much cash has Tommy Duncan raised?

maybe she’s waiting until after Valentine’s Day so she can spend one last beautiful romantic day with her closet lesbian lover, before she has to go full throttle with the bigotry and wingnut rhetoric.

If she wins then she’ll end her county commissioner run 2 years early. I’m not sure what would be worse.

This has me wondering… Currently, State Sen. Lee makes 29,916 dollars a year. Isn’t that a big drop from the BOCC salary she gets?

It would seem that Storms has been recruited very heavily to run for this seat because Republicans do not have confidence that an out-of-district moderate can beat Democrat challenger Stephen Gorham. Murman has loads of money from special interest groups, and she appears perfectly willing to simply buy the seat. By recruiting Storms, Republicans are yet again playing the politics of division, banking on hatred to trump the common-sense locally oriented message of the Democrats (see http://www.StephenGorham.com). Personally, his promise to tackle the Homestead issue has more of an effect on my life than all the back-handed bickering Storms can produce. She hasn’t accomplished anything as a County Commissioner, except to extend discrimination - why would anyone want her taking her hate to Tallahassee?

Just out of curiousity….if Ronda Storms was injured or ill enough to require an emergency room visit, would she ask all personel if they were straight? We are in all professions (police, fire, military, hospitality, doctors, nurses, etc…) We are honest hard working, tax paying individuals. If you (Ronda) had a child that were to step out of the closet would you reject him or her? Or a sibling? What is so wrong with us wanting to have equal rights? I listened to stories that my parents and grandparents told me of how they went shoulder to shoulder with blacks fighting for their rights. My family is white. We are all human not sub-human as you make us out to be. Together as one community would make our community stronger, but the way you put us down and continue to block us is wrong. You are passing judgement, that is but for one being to do…God, he loves us no matter what we are..gay, bisexual, transgender, lesbian. Discrimination must stop, bigotry must cease. Isn’t there other major issues that should be dealt with other than homosexuality? How about the Homestead Issue? The Homeless? Our schools? Insurance? Health reform? Trash? The list is long. Leave the gay community alone, allow us to speak and to be heard (not on deaf ears either)Allow us our rights as American Citizens!!
