Moments ago, a band of roving pirates came downtown to pillage. They stormed into the Mayor’s office, and forced her to hand over the keys to the city. Rumor has it there are hundreds more pirates offshore, and they plan to take over the city on Saturday morning.
The Gasparilla invasion will be just after noon, and the parade begins at 2:00. There will be plenty of other things going on in and around downtown Saturday.
