Sticks of Fire: a Tampa blog

So there I was, enjoying the parade with my family. Marching bands from schools all over the great State of Florida were dancing and playing their tunes. Officials and other dignitaries were waving, and throwing trinkets way off the mark. Krewes of all different names, shapes, and colors were passing by, throwing beads, coins, and rubber ducks.

Along came the Krewe of Mambi.  One of the members took a look at my shirt, and asked if that was my website.  “Yes! Yes it is!”  I exclaimed, totally caught off guard.  “I live in Seminole Heights,” he says as he continues his march north on Bayshore.  “You’re doing a great job.  Keep it up.”

Why, thank you Mr. Seminole Heights Mambi guy.  I truly appreciate it.  Thank you.
