Sticks of Fire: a Tampa blog

Dearest readers, each time we bring a new contributor into the fold, I have tried to give a proper introduction.  Of course, if they started out behind the scenes, and slowly popped out to add this or that, they did not get a proper introduction.

With that said, I want to make up for one oversight right here, right now.  You’ve heard from him before, and likely to hear from him again, but at least now you’ll have a little more than a photo.

I made my way onto the Internet at age 18 after going deaf (caused by a genetic condition), and I immediately started to make waves by voicing opinions and sticking my neck out on various web sites. Over the years I have landed (and lost) Dot-com jobs with Weblink Communications Inc and FanHome LLC, created a massively popular music lyrics site leading to threats of litigation by the Beatles.  I’m also not shy about voicing numerous opinions to other local media outlets.  

I am currently the Technical Administrator here at Sticks of Fire as well as owner, operator and writer at my own personal blogging venture – Boltsmag (which focuses on The Tampa Bay Lightning but also occasionally delves into local sports in general).

Friends, John has been instrumental in creating the looks of this site to my horrible specifications.  For putting up with me, he deserves your sympathy.  For his valuable contributions here, he deserves and gets a standing ovation.  Sorry this took so long, John.
