tommyIn addition to announcing our friend John, Sticks of Fire would also like to announce a new contributor to the lineup. Local blogjumpers may have already heard of Mike Pusatera via his blog, Pusatera.net. We welcome Michael to the fold here on Sticks:
Would the real Mike Pusatera please stand up? I would like to introduce myself to all the loyal Sticks of Fire readers. I’m a Tampa resident who has lived in the area since i was very, very young. I moved to Palm Harbor from Kansas in 1981 when I still wore diapers. I attended both private and public schools in Pinellas County before receiving Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering at the University of Florida (here is one of my more interesting projects).
Currently, I reside in NW Tampa about 10 minutes from the airport. I’m married to an entrepreneur who owns a real estate business. I am the IT manager at a company based here in Dunedin. Among my many interests are Tampa sports teams, boating, and this whole blog thing.
My role here at Sticks of Fire will be to relate local business news and issues to you, the readers. I’ll try to spotlight local businesses that are either on the right track, or doing something potentially harmful. I’ll talk about politics that affect local businesses and trends in our market. If you have any issues you’d like me to research, please let me know.
Thanks to the current crew at Sticks of Fire for giving me this opportunity, I’m very much looking forward to it.
