online prophesy

After hearing the news that Weekly Planet will have an internal blog, Michael Hussey tells me that the USF Oracle has set up some staff blogs.   They haven’t actually started putting words and stuff in there, but they have blogs.
By the way, you may remember Michael Hussey, aka Sullivan – his previous blog was called The Last Day of My Life.  He recently wrote The Last Post of That Blog. You can now see him Pushing Rope (now that’s an unpleasant thought), where he promises to have a tighter focus on Florida and Tampa politics.

It’s the last political post on LDOML. I update it for random personal stuff. You’re the first person to make note of the obscene blog title.

I wonder if the Planet is going to have comments. The Washington Post just had commenters flame ombudsman Deborah Howell for stating that Jack Abramoff is a bipartisan scandal. Eric Deggans took some attacks for dissing Bill O’Reilly.

Actually, the Oracle Sports blog has had a couple of posts.

The navigation from the Oracle site is weird - from the link you gave, you click the blog you want to view. That takes you to a page that just has a link to that same blog - that link takes you to the Blogger page.

On a slightly related note: I am one of the members of Loaded Mouth nominated for a Koufax Award for best group blog.

Nothing like glomming onto the success of somebody else’s blog, eh Mr. Hussey!

I’m glomming away. I’ve been linked to Wired News, Metafilter, and several leftwing blogs. As well as guestblogged. Thank you for noticing my “glomming” Mr. Bamaroller. (It is Mister?) I will try not to glom like a drunk guy at Mons Venus. God knows bloggers would never post or comment about award we received or nominated. Bloggers are known modesty and civility.

Being the operator of said “somebody else’s blog,” I don’t consider Michael to be “glooming.” The award Loaded Mouth was nominated for is “Best Group Blogger” and Michael is part of my group of bloggers. It’s his nomination just as much as my own.

[...] So far, Michael Hussey has been true to his word. He’s paying more attention to local stuff. [...]
