palma ceia considers annex
April 17, 1951 – Residents of the Palma Ceia section of Hillsborough County hear a report regarding the cost of a sewer and drainage plan. The report compared the cost of the residents paying for their own system versus what it would cost if the area as annexed by the City of Tampa. While the results of the plan are currently unknown, the city did annex most of the Interbay Peninsula, including the Palma Ceia area, in 1956.
