world’s largest hurricane party
Hurricane season is still a few weeks away, but some folks are already thinking about ‘em.
The Interkrewe Council includes members of most Tampa area Krewes. The fundraising and charity arm of the Council is called KrewesKare. KrewesKare is attempting to get into the Guinness Book of World Records with the World’s Largest Hurricane Party.
Join the various pirates and wenches on Saturday, May 13 from 3-9pm at Hooper’s Hollow. It’s the outdoor waterfront party park–and it’s easy to find–right behind the Egypt Shrine A La Carte Pavilion at 4050 Dana Shores Drive in Tampa.
A $20 donation gets you great music by favorite local bands, “The Johnny G. Lyon Band,” “Crossfire,” and more, delicious food by Rigatoni’s Tuscan Oven, The Rack, Rock n’ Sports and others, and refreshing libations. It’s all to make everyone aware of the UPCOMING HURRICANE SEASON just around the corner! Help us break the world record in attendance and be included in the Guinness Book of World Records! You could also win some great prizes! It’s for a great cause!
Proceeds benefit KrewesKare, which plan to use those funds to help people affected by hurricanes in the Southeastern United States. For tickets and more info, check out the World’s Largest Hurricane Party.
