From the press release:

More than 7,000 veterans and their spouses attended The New York Times’ inaugural “Salute Our Heroes” career expo in New York City last year. The enthusiastic response of both employers and veterans prompted The New York Times Job Market to expand its successful program to Boston, Chicago, New York and - yup -Tampa, in 2006.

SALUTE OUR HEROES: Veterans Career Expo & Job Fair is a job fair to help former servicemen and women and spouses of active-duty military personnel find jobs.  The expo will feature workshops that cover career counseling, resume-writing, interviewing, transitioning to civilian life and more.

The event is sponsored by: The New York Times Job Market, in partnership with the American Legion, USO, Hire Vets First, the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and others.
