committee recommends heritage

According to SoHo Bill of TampaGold and SoHoTampa, the Review Committee for the Requests for Proposal for the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory recommended the Heritage Proposal.

The recommendation will now go to the National Guard, then on to Tampa City Council. Find more details on SoHoTampa.com.

In another turn of events, Cindy Miller, the Facilitator of the Review Committee, has now indicated that their was not really a single recomendation. Catch the Tampa Business Journal update here.http://tampabay.bizjournals.com/tampabay/stories/2006/07/31/daily43.html?jst=b_ln_hl.

I was at the meeting and have talked with two of the principals with competing projects and we all agree – the story now does NOT match what was said at the public meeting on Tuesday. I will add no editorial comment at this time – just the facts.
