jobsite hosts sticks of fire night

David Jenkins and the great folks at Jobsite Theater will be hosting Sticks of Fire night at the Sunday evening performance of Grimms Faery Tales. As an added bonus, you can stay after the show ends for a talkback. That is a great opportunity for the audience to ask questions about whatever they want in regards to the play, the process or the company after the show.

Grimm’s is going to be a LOT of stupid sketch comedy fun, and I think is a perfect fit for [Sticks of Fire].

Anyway, the play has gotten interesting reviews, and sold out twice last weekend. It certainly sounds entertaining. I know you have been thinking about going, so why not make it on Sticks of Fire night, and enjoy a talkback to boot. Of course, wifey and I will be there too, but don’t let that ruin your night. David has promised to run interference. Tickets are $18.50, and the show starts at 4pm. Ok. Go buy your tickets.
I do have one free pair of tix to give away. Anyone have a good idea on how to choose who gets ‘em?

If I can chime in here … there are plenty of tickets left for this Sunday’s show. As opposed to last Friday and Saturday (and we even came very close on Sunday) - I don’t think this Sunday is in any immediate danger of selling out.
Strapped for cash? Do you have a senior (65+), student or military ID? You can get half off tickets at the window as of 90 minutes before the show. Cash only.
I’ve been saying, this ain’t high art folks - just high jinks. Come out and laugh.

I can guarantee two votes for you, David - the wife and I are fans.
And may I say that I was not aware of the day-of discount. I know plenty of students who are always meaning to go - that may just be the way to get them in the door finally.

Well, to be honest Joel we’d obviously rather people pay full price, especially since we’re the cheapest professional theater ticket in town (or at least I think that’s still true).
But we also know folks in those categories lack more cash than most, and we’d rather have full houses. Whatever it takes to get people in the door.
Maybe we should consider a slack-ass scenester discount … but it still wouldn’t get half the people I know off their couch/barstool to get out and see a show …
