100 years ago…

August 23, 1906 – The Tampa Morning Tribune reported on recent real estate sales in Tampa, including a two story brick building on a 105 foot lot fronting on Franklin street for the “large price” of $35,000 ($718,000 in today’s dollars) and seventeen lots on Bayshore Boulevard purchased for a total of $20,000 ($410,000, or $24,000 per lot, in today’s dollars).
