I haven’t heard the name Bobby Friss in years. After Nirvana broke big Bobby Friss kinda disappeared from the local music rader. Nothing against Bobby, but I was happy when the hair band scene died.

thanks, Tommy. BTW, find the awesome TC Carr at http://www.tccarr.com/ TC is perhaps the best harp player i’ve ever heard. he’s way better than the guy in Blues Traveler. Only Magic Dick, (the late great) Paul Butterfield, (the late great) Little Walter, (the late great) Rock Bottom and a few others are (were) in the same league. Culture Roots, actually “Mighty Pat” and Culture Roots, are apparently long gone. No clue about “Siren.” Also, the band on that 20 year old cover is better now than ever, IMHO.

Many thanks to George for keeping live music alive in Ybor. New Blue Shark is in a better spot than the old one.
Whatever happened to T.C. and the Shooters? Does anybody care?
Speaking of Tampa music legends, anybody know anything about The Outlaws regrouping?
