the king has reentered the building
skippyTBO is reporting that Shaun King was scheduled to work out with Bucs earlier today. I have always rooted for Shaun King. I wanted him to show the city what he could do and I wanted him to shine. After 2000, that never seemed to happen. He has since been cut by two other teams, but there is another possibility he will become a Buccaneer once again. Of course, he already has my full support.
But regardless if King is picked up or not, it seems to me we may just need to claim this season as “the year the Bucs were playing for the best draft pick.”

Three teams actually: Cardinals, Lions and Colts. I hope they sign Shuan and he gets one more chance. He’s a great guy off the field too.

Shaun is a real cool guy. I had a meeting with him and my boss once at our office (several months ago), and remembered how classy of a guy he was.
The offseason after our close loss in the NFC championship game to Kurt Warner and his wife, Mrs. Popadopolis, I met him and his parents at an event. They were awesome.
I’d love to see Shaun come back.

Will, thank you for the correction, 3 teams. Hey all, I hope he comes in and kicks A$$! But every loss can’t be blamed on the Quarterback. There’s something not meshing with the team this year.
