People are still talking about little Trenton Duckett. The latest post has over 500 comments. I expect we’ll keep allowing the conversation to continue as long as necessary.
I would like to remind the commenters that this website does not monitor nor delete comments (other than the spam filter). However, I expect everyone to act like adults. Here are some basic guidelines for commenters:

“I am thinking, Cara says they stopped talking because of something MD was doing and keeping secret from Cara”.
Well I think it has something to do with money for favors and Cara might not have liked that. Nevertheless who really knows. Maybe Cara saw what Melinda was all about. I had a friend that was not good to her kids and it took me awhile to end that relationship, so I feel for Cara.
Melinda seems to have a lot of people feeling sorry for her, or they won’t accept that she had something to do with Trenton’s disapearance. I feel for her Mental instability but My heart is for Trenton. I saw her interview and she wasn’t even a very good actress you could see right through that fakeness. This statement from me doesn’t mean I don’t feel sorry for Melinda…I feel she had a bunch on her plate that she couldn’t deal with. I have been there done that so I do know what she dealt with.

I’m not surprised they have done that to many people calling in unsubstantiated reports like the psychic predictions.
I have never said that I thought that MD didn’t kill Trent I don’t know what happened to him I’m not a psychic and have never claimed to be one.But there is always another way to look at things.
I don’t know where Trent is alive or dead but there are plenty more missing kids out there maybe we can get things changed so no more little kids end up in a tug of war between people who are using the system to get back at each other.
We can still email the media and our law makers and tell them things need to change. We can do what we can to change the system to make the world a safe place for all the children and if we do that in the name of Trent and Melinda then at least their deaths will not have been in vain.
So make sure you have something concrete before you call anyone in cases like this and Internet psychics are not what they would want to hear.

Here’s the site to 116 missing and endangered children. Let’s add some of them to any emails we can. The more people who see these kids the better the chance that we can bring a few home safe. Let’s not forget Trent but let’s see if we can’t use some of our caring and help as many kids as we can.

The FBI closing the line is not unusual after a certain period of time. This could mean any number of things. They still have his pic on their site along with a lot of other children that are still missing.

No not really the FBI doesn’t tell the general public all they really know about a case until it is over. So don’t get to dis hearted he could still be out there because it aint over till the fat lady sings and I don’t hear her yet.
Keep up the good work and remember to visit the NVFC site and mail some of those kids out to your friends and any where else you think it might help. That way we can keep busy and let the FBI do their job. While we pray for Melinda, Trent and all the missing people out there what ever their age. They need us as much as Trent does. Lets see how many of them we can help too!

Does anyone know if anything came out the searches done by the ladies on the CTV blog. Someone metioned something about the disturbances in the dirt. Also, have the police actually done a search of the park where Melinda had Trentons birthday party? What about the lake.
Also I would like to add that I think it is normally a good thing for the police to with hold evidence from the public in criminal investigations. I don’t think they should this time. The person who did it is dead, and it sounds like they can use all the help they can get. Releasing everything may help them to solve this quicker.

I hear you PFT but it just might be the time to sit back on him a bit and let the FBI handle it for a while. You never know what might happen. Just try to stay positive and keep him in your prayers and add the other little 2 year old Edwin Gonzales he has a mom to come home to. Read his story very scary stuff for a 2 year old.

I think every thing has just been hashed hashed and rehashed to the point there been about every single possibly explored and we all really know that md offed her son for very selfish reason and all because in a couple days she would have been in jail for the fake emails and josh would have won custody of td and it was more than she could bear in her own very sick twisted mind…she had to be the winner in any event even if it meant lying,forgery,fake kidnapping and killing she won even though she had to die to do it….she was saying to josh ha got you anyways……but i think they will find trent in next two weeks and news wont be good.I really believe md definitly figured she came out the winner here.

MD had to be in control of everything in her life and she was able to munipulte the legal system in her favor with faked documents and it was catching up with her and she knew it>>>I think she knew(from her friends)that came forward) and she was losing control and was not about to see josh with trent so she did the unspeakable with her baby)and that way she still felt in control over situation and she didnt have to go to jail either,she offed herself becuz she knew the gig was up…that exactly what i feel happened.

I’m not all for Josh either. I’m tired of hearing how MD ‘trapped’ him. He made his own choices. We all know what having unprotected intercourse causes. I do believe MD had something to do with the fate of Trenton, but I’m tired of all the excuses for Josh.

They were right in worrying, but they certainly didn’t go about it the right way. They reported falsehoods and that from the start made them look like they were lying. If she did do something to that baby, she’s in hell and will never be at peace with herself.
What kills me is that her parents went right back home after the funeral and aren’t saying a word. How’s that for parents?

If my daughter had died and we had been at odds I’d still be there to help with the search - if I didn’t know what happened to that baby. Maybe they do and aren’t saying. I’m sure that the FBI and LE are watching them. There’s no way they can be at peace either.

In the meantime their is still NO CLUES as to where Trenton is.Regardless of who took this little boy last time I checked he is still missing.Every piece of evidence is in LE’s hands wich I dont find all that convinced that they are doing everything they possibly can.Why do I feel that way?
1.Right b4 they announced they were scaling back they also kept mentioning the money it has cost them in trying to find Trenton.
2.Just now on Monday they discovered a Credit Card transaction almost 1 month after MD did the unthinkable.(Seems to me they would of looked into ALL CC transactions to figure timeline)
3.They dont want the blame on them for letting a suspiscous vehicle leave & not pursue it any further.http://www.wftv.com/news/9779121/detail.html
4.Keep MD main suspect(She is already dead anyway)Not like she can say much.Eventually more like sooner than later there search efforts will end completely.Then its just another forgotten case just like the rest of these missing children.

I’ve read it and understand. Mindy is not to blame she make bad choices the same as Josh. I don’t know all but pray for them she isn’t going to hell for what she did.

For Josh,
Josh and his mother both made accusations against Melinda but then Josh took them back stating that his mother made him say those things and that they were false. Now, of course, he says that Melinda’s attorney made him do that. Also, according to the DCF records Trenton was removed from the care of Kevin Massero, Carla Massero, and Josh Duckett because Kevin has a history of cocaine abuse and Josh was living with them. He still lives with Carla and Kevin Massero. Josh went on national tv stating that he didn’t think Melinda would hurt Trenton but weeks later he says that the system failed Trenton. When can he get his story straight?

The way they accused each other is insane. Think about the time and money spent on false accusations by these families. Josh’s mother was definitely in on it and wanted Trenton, but that backfired. If they both would have worried about the baby instead of their selfish selves there wouldn’t be a baby missing and possibly deceased. Maybe they should get a bill for the tiime they were dragging each other to court. The system certainly failed Trenton, but mostly, his parents and grandparents failed him.

DKA….I agree. Josh has not been consistent in anything he has said. People have been so quick to judge MD’s life..yet nobody seems to want to question Josh’s. For example, there’s all this talk about MD being abused, having a mental disorder, etc. Why hasn’t anyone discussed that Josh has lied several times, he lives with a drug addict, his mother first married a murderer (accused), then married a drug addict. Sounds like the choices made in that family aren’t any better than the choices Melinda has made. What I find so strange, is that there are no comments about Josh’s life (or his mom’s) coming from leesburg LE. WHY?
It’s just too quiet on the Duckett side.

TK…maybe if Josh hadn’t spent all of his money on court costs associated with his retracted accusations, he could have paid child support and for the classes he needed to complete his case plan set forth by DCF!

2. Melinda panics and commits suicide when hearing rumor of body in trash dumpster.
3. Sorry to say, but that tells me she ended his life and put him in a trash dumpster.

#25 & #38, I wonder why the police never gave a description of this vehicle. I can’t believe that they let the driver go!!!! Several red flags were thrown up, as it describes that the driver pushed a small child to the floor board…HELLO!!!! The child isn’t in a car seat!!!!! The driver should have been ticketed for that alone. And since there was no car seat one would think, hey, maybe this child doesn’t belong to this person!!! The abduction theory would hold up a lot if we knew how the screen was cut. If it was just a 10″ slit, it would be impossible, but if it was cut down the sides or middle and across the bottom, that would be legit. If it was truly an abduction, that car is long gone, but the police could make it right by releasing a description of the car and driver, wouldn’t they have that noted somewhere????? Sounds like everybody has failed this child!!!

Tenbucktwo, If Melinda had heard that they found Trent’s body in a dumpster, she certainly didn’t respond to that in her suicide notes and even mentions to her grandparents, I think, that even if her baby does come back, she wouldn’t be a good mother. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll ever know what happened to Trent…she may have very well taken that secret to the grave : (

at least josh stuck around to tell a story.it makes sense that josh would like to believe md didnt or wouldnt hurt his son but as time goes by he sees other wise……..all suspect and only suspect md makes perfect sense to me.he thought all md threats to hurt trent were control tactics that in the end turned out to show just how far she would go to control josh and her parents and grand parents and the public as we are all still spending time trying to clean up her messes.

If my ex EVER made threats against my children I would beat him into a coma. I don’t find threatening a child control tactic. It takes someone sick to do that. I have threatened to smash his winshield and flatten his tires if he didn’t pay his child support. Why the heck should he enjoy his money if his children aren’t benefiting from it? I’m not for Carla either, but she knew that there are people out there that hurt children -doesn’t matter why they do it, there isn’t any reason to harm a child.

Bottom line is neither of them were fit to parent this child. Period. I’ve never sang Josh’s praises. I still believe most likely Melinda is involved, but keep an open mind because this case is so strange. But I do think, while it’s not right, that if Josh TRULY believed Melinda was going to hurt Trent…and nothing he was doing was getting his son out of that home, maybe he took his statements back because he was moving back in so he could actually SEE and make sure his son was ok. And people also need to remember that the Judge who enforced the injunction was not even the judge who had heard everything in their case, but rather a traveling judge (can’t remember the exact term), and he also did it AGAINST the advice of DCF. That still doesn’t make Josh a good parent, but I can see how it could have happened. They both failed Trenton, neither of them deserved to have him in their home. JMO

I am worried that since there is no more media coverage and blogs are shutting down regarding this case that Trenton will never be found. We have to band together to keep this story alive. Little Trenton needs to be found. What can we do to help him? I have sent e-mails to different media channels but received no response. There needs to be justice for Trenton!

DKA - Sending emails to the media outlets is a very good idea, however they often don’t respond. They have their agendas & as you can see from most of them, missing children isn’t one of them. This has been tried many times. I have done in the past along with a bunch of other people & not one person I know of got a response.

Other than emails, I would suggest taking some pictures and information about the case to your local print shops…and tell them what you are trying to do. See if they will run copies for you for free, and post them wherever you can. Call into your local morning radio shows…people listen to them all the time when they go into work. Petition to get more people, then slam your local media for coverage requests, if they believe the public cares and that it will push ratings, they’ll jump on board. That’s all I can think of for now. I’ll get back to everyone if I can think of more.

People keep talking about the screen and only a 10″ slit and how that is or isn’t enough room…well duh…but the reason someone would cut a screen is so you can reach inside and pull the tabs on the screen and remove it!!
If then a child was pulled from it or thru it the perpetrators could easily put back the screen from the outside.
I still can’t understand why that story about the car without the plates and the boy in it has until now gotten no response from the police. I guess they figure after all this dies down the only people left are in the “Melinda did it” or “other” camp. They don’t have to say a f-ing thing about how inept they may or may not have been.’
Kudos to the Trooper who pulled the car over. Now what?

2sad - yes 2sad! You are bang on. The problem is that when the police make mistakes, the majority would rather shift the focus than own up. We will never know who was in that car or where it is now. All we know for sure is that it is long gone. As far as the screen goes, we pop our screens out all the time - it’s very easily done. I’m not sure why they are taking so long in getting the results back but I would be interested to learn whose partial print was on that window. I think they have it back & it doesn’t match anybody ie MD, her friends that were there, etc. This would be another reason to reconsider the abduction theory & I don’t see them eagerly wanting to do that. It is much easier to blame someone who isn’t around to defend themselves.

Right on guys.SOOOO Happy to see others with the same theory as I(Blog & 2sad).Truthfully its all devastating no matter what the scenario.Although it’s much easier to blame MD then themselves.To #49 for my post on #38.I have never said this as a whole on any public service worker.I DO appreciate everything they do.I have several family memebers who belong in LE,Military,Criminal law,&Firefighters so needless to say I have the UPMOST respect for these people.
Although however I do believe there were mistakes made in this investigation & no one wants to own up to it.Kinda like the Jon Benet case & so many others.I was not referring to them as a whole.I know they are human BUT they are also professionals.

for Josh - I’m sure if they were positive about what happened then we would know by now? This leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Suspect is just that ’suspect’. Not guilty as charged. Those of us with hope haven’t ruled out all possibilities if we did, then nobody would be looking for this child!

catsmom - why is it absurd? It wouldn’t be the first time such a thing has happened. And I might add, more than once. What is absurd is that MD wrote a fake email to herself, then knew she was going to be discovered & then presented the same fake email to the police when they arrived at her apt when she called that he was missing. If she knew that they were onto her about the email, why would she use it as an indication of who might have taken her son? That’s absurd.

for Josh - well then I have one question: why are you here if you already know what happened? Are you saying that they should stop trying to find him? What if you are wrong?
As far as high speed chases go, that has nothing to do with that car & what we were discussing about it. Regardless, high speed chases are on the news constantly and I would think that a child being pushed to the floor, who looks like Trenton, would warrant more than a ‘it isn’t against the law to have a child in the car’ comment from the supervisor. No, cops chase cars for much less of a reason. If it were your child, I don’t think you would sit back & say that. As far as getting no reward & no respect, I don’t see that. It is a dangerous job & most do it well - including taking the risks that they do for which they are trained. ie Pitt maneouvers, etc. I am just saying that in this case, they made a mistake which everyone does on occasion. I’m not saying that as a generalization.

I have experience with DCYF on two different occassions. And NO they DO NOT do a very good job. DCYF heard a report of my Mothers Husband molesting his own 14 year old cousin. They came to my House because My Mother and her husband were separated at the time and my Mother had a two year old daughter with this perv. DCYF wanted to see if he had molested his own 2 year old daughter. To make the story short They found out that yes his own 2 year old daughter he molested. We were sickened. My little sister began saying alot of sick stuff one was of sodomizing from her father. Well the charges were dropped because the relative didn’t want to press charges and then DCYF said that My Mother had to Allow the visitations again. ????? Ok that makes a hell of alot of sense. Tell us that it has been confirmed that this 2 year old was indeed molested by her Father but now that the other charges were dropped we MUST allow HIM visitation or my MOTHER GOES TO JAIL????????
Well it ended only because the Perv stopped pursueing matters…yes we went to court but they thought the 2 year old must have saw anal sodomizing by “watching tv” Yeah what ever you stupid courts! 17 Years Later this perv shoots his common law wife in the back three times and claimed self defense and they had 5 children who all came to court to testify that their father also molested and abused them. That person he killed was also the 14 year old cousin he molested way back when this first started! SO Thats one story where DCYF had failed children and the Courts as well that I was personally aware of. It isnt’ the first time and it won’t be the last.
And while Josh may not have been the greatest parent he did not kill Trenton. Remember these are babies having children and they are not mature enough to handle it.

If she knew the email was fake, & written by herself, & she knew that the police knew, why did she show it to the police right after she reported him missing? The email would have relevance to her because she suspected that JD took him that’s why she showed it to the police.

Montana - that is a tragic story. I have also heard of a couple of cases where children were forced to continue to have visitation with a parent who has been accused of molesting them. One case the father ended up in jail for the molestation of his own children & the courts forced her to take them to see him in jail as his right as a parent. It’s a sad world sometimes.

Just one more comment on the email. All that they have proven is that it ‘came from her computer’. From her MySpace postings we have learned that MD had people over at her house while she was not there on numerous occasions. She also had a couple of friends with keys to her apt. She had 2 laptops which are portable. I’m sure her & JD had mutual friends so who’s to say somebody else didn’t write it?

Her attorney already stated the Melinda knew she was being watched. So she really had no choice in the matter so far as where to do it. She couldn’t take the gun out to her car and risk getting caught.

for Josh - According to Josh himself, he was saying right after the email & at the court hearing when he lost custody that he thought she wrote it. He & his mother were in the process, in July of trying to prove that. So, MD knew that she was being accused before Trenton went missing. Anybody knows that an email can be traced back to your computer thru your URL. And like I said, all the authorities have proven is that ‘it came from her computer’.

If any of them are local to Central Florida and want to search this weekend…..have them read the “Active Search/Volunteer info” thread I started.
We have a command post at an area PD for search safety….knowing who is going into the search area and making sure we all make it back out. If after reading that, they are still interested, they can post or PM me or mbump.
Next weekend, I’m hoping will be bigger and better in searcher turn out. We will be speaking with LE tomorrow to help us figure out possibly where we can go as a larger group and do an actual local “call out” for searchers

Tomorrow morning I will be talking with a police chief to finalize our command post and search area. Our command post will be at that particular police station (location given to only those searching, sorry folks….want to keep the media and possible threats out of the area).

DL licence and plate number
Check in/out at PD

Bug spray
Long pants/jeans
Boots
Long sleeve shirt (optional, I don’t wear one)
Sun screen
Water bottles
Food/snacks
Walking stick (optional, but usefull)
Camera (optional, but would be appreciated to have more)
Headwear (optional, but a good idea for sun/bug protection)
I’m sure I missed something, if I have, I’ll add to this later.
I did find a motel near the area, if any one needs lodging, I”ll give you the name and number….THIS IS NOT LUXURY….but it is close.
This area is not nice, hence, getting the cooperation of the local PD was necessary for our own seachers safety.
If you respond here in this threas as being a volunteer, I will contact you via PM. Don’t volunteer to only get information….I’ll be stingy with it!

Blog, the police weren’t aware the email was fake until about 48 hours after Trent’s disapearrance, so she was in the clear to present that as possibly the person she “knew friggin did it.” So if she was not aware whatsoever, then why wouldn’t she use that to set Josh up?

Yeah because people’s friends hack the ex’s emails all the time. Having other theories is great…because none of us knew what happened. But keeping them realistic is a good idea too. Sorry but I highly doubt any of her friends hated Josh SO much that they found out his passwords (hello, where would they have gotten that information from? MD) and hacked his account to set him up. Do your friends often commit felonies for you? While you are completely unaware?

Josh had stated to investigators that he had not wrote the email, but no investigation of that email began until right when Trent went missing, they didn’t know until within 48 hours of his disapearrance. Will look for links to back that up later, but that is what I have read in every article I ever read about the email. So Mel had no indication that anyone was “onto her”

For I am not ashamed to ADMIT when I am wrong or have made a mistake.Now that there is evidence to the fact that she failed voice stress test & walked out in the middle of an active LDT I will say she is GUILTY.I am Sorry for overlooking somethings & being hard on Josh & second geussing his involvement.I feel so hopeless right now & am in tears as I have grown a pretty BIG heart for this little guy & pray for him everyday.It’s pretty sad that MD had so much going for her that she could not find the happiness she longed for to make it in this world.I look at her & see so much life to live & then to look at Trentons picture & see so much life to give.What horrible things to of been going through her mind the day she took the life of her son for no one to find.

You didn’t answer - are you related? You are right they don’t have anything to prove. It just looks wierd that they are out of the spotlight. If that were my child I’d hound the hell out of the media not hide from it. This is the freakiest story I have ever heard - talk about dysfunction.

Absolutely - no doubt about it. In a sense, we are all probably dysfunctional, but this is ridiculous. This little boy never, ever had a chance. Sure, he was loved, but he was never taken care of - by his parents, grandparents, friends of parents and by the state of florida. You should all be ashamed.

I am not related to josh.friend of the family and know this story all to well.joshes family is not hiding,they are simply putting there ducks in a row and having priorities straight which is finding trent.josh lost his wife and son at the same time and md was cruel to do this and it was her intention that everyone be kept guessing for life as to where trent is.I believe md was not as smart as she thought she was though and trent will be found but not alive i am sure.she is still in charge even from the grave until this lil boy is found.

Doesn’t the fact that you are a friend of the family make you kind of biased? You only will really ever know one side of this story. I mean come on how many days was this young man in NYC. He could have talked to NG from FL just the same. Seems to me that he was not doing much in adding in the search when he was site seeing in NYC with might I add a 17 yr old child.

Correct Trina. That really bothered me seeing him in NYC with NG. No reason in the world why he couldn’t talk from FL. Wasn’t looking too hard at that time. Since then - he’s MIA. Huh. From the start this has been a screwed up mess. Nothing makes sense - nothing any of them does. Trenton is missing and everyone has their own agenda, none of which include going out and searching for their own flesh and blood.

None of this makes any sense like you said TK. I have no idea how this is now turning onto the friends of MD. They have cooperated with police and thats all that really needed to be done on their part if they so choose. None of us know if they have or have not gone out looking and we are listening to someone who obviously has his or her side chosen.

Josh being in NYC while his son was missing in FL has everything to do with this case. He could have just as easily talked with NG while in FL looking for his child.

You are correct - Josh and his family don’t have to explain anything to any of us. By them not explaining or offering anything - we assume what is going on - what do you expect? There have been so many stories that it’s hard to decipher what is real and what isn’t. I do know that by not saying anything and hiding - we all reach conclusions - and they may not be what JD’s family wants. At least have a voice and act like you are searching. When you do show your face - have it be in FL where the search is going on - not NYC. There was no reason in hell he had to go to NYC. Vacation in the middle of a crisis. Nice.

i’ll post this here for those that don’t go to the other place to post.
I posted about this ‘rumor’ way back on the orginal SOF. But I’ve been thinking a lot about it lately and this is what I think….
Anyways… on the day Melinda killed herself, I was reading a private message board for homeschooling. And a friend of mine from Leesburg had posted that her husband got a call at work…ended up being 3rd person but orgianally came from a Sumter County Sheriff. The ‘rumor’ was that Melinda had confessed to killing Trenton..that she left him in a hot car and he died…she panicked. Also that she had been arrested. That was the part that made me believe this was just a ‘rumor’. Because we know that she was not arrested.
But I’m really starting to wonder now…maybe she did confess over the phone. Maybe that is the real reason FBI was on their way to the grandparents house. Maybe that is the real reason she killed herself…guilt. The police seem to let a little info out at a time. Like this lie detector thing. They knew this from day 1. Yet, for a month we were all led to believe that she took no test whatsoever. So… maybe a confession by her is something else they are not telling the public at the moment.
It does make sense. So I am wondering if that may be the next ’surprise’ we hear from the police that they have known all along but did not tell us.

I think there would be outrage if that was the case - I would hope anyway. The mother is deceased and the baby is missing. Why wouldn’t they release everything to help in the search for this child.
I had heard the same rumor (possibly here). I guess it makes sense. the thing that bothers me is what if he did pass away in a hot car. How could she put on the show she did knowing that he was gone? I know she was sick, but that sick?

Well, they keep releasing info to the public little by little. Stuff they knew the very next day after he was ‘abducted’. Why didn’t they tell us that stuff at the beginning? That’s my point there. I think LE knows more than we think they do. And I don’t knwo why they don’t just tell us everything…so that we can help. I don’t understand that part.
Melinda put on a show knowing EXACTLY what happened to Trenton. Whether he is alive or dead… she knows and she was sick in the head enough to put on a show.

Unfortunately, she hasn’t had much to say - much that means anything and has been helpful. I do hope that when the truth comes out and they find out who was holding back - that they prosecute them. This is not a game. A child’s life is at stake. What is so sad is that if she didn’t want him that she wouldn’t let anyone else have him. That is so selfish. Our poor kids in this world don’t have a prayer. We treat them with such little respect.

THIS IS WHAT I RECEIVED BACK WHEN I ASKED IF I COULD POST THE INFORMATION HERE:
If any of them are local to Central Florida and want to search this weekend…..have them read the “Active Search/Volunteer info” thread I started.
We have a command post at an area PD for search safety….knowing who is going into the search area and making sure we all make it back out. If after reading that, they are still interested, they can post or PM me or mbump.
Next weekend, I’m hoping will be bigger and better in searcher turn out. We will be speaking with LE tomorrow to help us figure out possibly where we can go as a larger group and do an actual local “call out” for searchers
Thanks again…and keep an eye open for when our next location is announced. I hope to make it sometime over the weekend at the latest.

Tomorrow morning I will be talking with a police chief to finalize our command post and search area. Our command post will be at that particular police station (location given to only those searching, sorry folks….want to keep the media and possible threats out of the area).

DL licence and plate number
Check in/out at PD
Don’t forget to pack…yes pack:
Bug spray
Long pants/jeans
Boots
Long sleeve shirt (optional, I don’t wear one)
Sun screen
Water bottles
Food/snacks
Walking stick (optional, but usefull)
Camera (optional, but would be appreciated to have more)
Headwear (optional, but a good idea for sun/bug protection)
I’m sure I missed something, if I have, I’ll add to this later.
I did find a motel near the area, if any one needs lodging, I”ll give you the name and number….THIS IS NOT LUXURY….but it is close.
This area is not nice, hence, getting the cooperation of the local PD was necessary for our own seachers safety.
If you respond here in this threas as being a volunteer, I will contact you via PM. Don’t volunteer to only get information….I’ll be stingy with it!
That’s it. I’ll give more details tomorrow morning after my meeting with the police chief.

from Leesburg - how are you today? The rumor about what might have happened is quite plausible. That was my 1st thought originally that there was some kind of accident & it was covered up. It certainly would not be the 1st time a young mother made a terrible mistake and having the additional stresses along with any mental illness would certainly only contribute to a very illogical thought process. I just worried that we may never know what happened here.

I think that the reason that Josh went to New York was possibly because Melinda was from New York. Maybe he spoke with some of her friends? I don’t know. Seems to me that it could be one reason he was there.
