October 13, 1926 – David P. Davis, developer of Davis Islands, dies mysteriously at sea while en route to Europe. It is still unknown whether Davis was murdered, committed suicide or fell overboard accidentally.

David Paul Davis grew up on his father’s steamboats, riverboats and ferries and worked 9 years on the Panama Canal. If he, at age 41, cannot ride on a Cunard steam ship to Europe without “falling” out of a porthole of a SMALL CABIN at 5 AM in the morning, they should take his name off those islands!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
