tampa bay tech honors veterans
I went to Tampa Bay Vocational-Technical High School out in East Tampa. That school was known as TBT long before any publication of a similar name was even considered. Maybe that’s why they need the asterisk.
Anyway, I am proud to report that TBT is honoring those students who have served your country. My alma mater is lining a walkway with brick pavers inside the school’s courtyard. On those pavers are etched the names of those students of Tampa Bay Tech. who have served or are serving in the United States Armed Forces. There are three TBTer that have died in war, including Sgt. First Class Paul Smith.
The football team has always sucked, but stuff like this makes me proud to be a Titan.
