4th annual pirate fair this weekend
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s non-scientific poll, most of us are going to work longer and possibly never retire. How depressing. (If my boss is reading this, I’m only kidding. I love my job and hope to never retire.)
The Husband and I are avoiding job-related polls by embracing our inner Jose Gaspar and attending the 4th Annual Pirate Fair in Clearwater this weekend. There will be a magic show; a pirate comedy show; a “unique fire show;” demonstrations of cannons, rigging and knot-tying; rides — both on a ship and human-powered; stunts; food; vendors and plenty of people walking around dressed like pirates and saying “Ahoy matey” and “Arrrrgh.”
November 17, 18 and 19 at Coachman Park in Clearwater. Friday and Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children under 12.
Arrrrgh.
