redner takes tampa
Joe Redner lost his bid to sit on the Hillsborough County Commission. But here’s an interesting little note. Of the votes cast in the city limits of Tampa, Redner beat Norman by more than ten percent. Redner, who just LOVES running for local office, will likely be emboldened enough to make a run for Tampa City Council next year.

That would SO not surprise me. You were right about Rhonda last year (I believe you predicted she would run for state office in a post).

why doesnt he support somebody electable? why does he want so badly to be approved by voters? Why does he make his daughter work Nebraska Avenue, instead of giving her a job at the Mons? Why does he always call people “fat?” Does he call his daughter “fat?”

I was proud to vote for Redner. Time to get rid of the typical partisan idiotarians we have sent to the elective offices for many years. I am just one of those diehards who wish we had a viable 3rd party….Libertarians if they would get off single note issues and address the mess now in Tampa/Hillsborough County/Tallahassee/Washington.
Redner might surprise some folks if elected as to his ability to deal with issues and not BS!

I’d vote for him again. He’s upfront about who he is and what he does, and he has some good ideas to implement when he gets into office.
