A hearty congratulations goes out to our state champions, the Plant Panthers. They beat Nease High School (also the Panthers) in the finals this past weekend.
2006 Plant is the first team from Tampa to win the title since Blake High School in 1969. The St. Pete Times’ David Murphy blogged the game, and Jerry wants you to know all about it.

Congrats Plant! I watched the game and it was much more exciting than rooting on the Bucs these days. :/ The Plant qb will be big time in college game.
