January 9, 1946 – Dr. Louis A. Bize, an eye, ear, nose and throat doctor who went on to become the president of Citizens Bank and Trust Company, dies at 74. Bize also served as executive general agent of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad from 1929 until the time of his death.
