The main Gasparilla parade is this weekend, so many of you will be out there looking for a good time.
If you choose to drink, you should also choose a designated driver. Tell your driver to feel free taking any route right through the many checkpoints in the area. Sober, legal drivers are given a free pass to continue on.
And don’t for one second think that knowing where the traps are will save you from your own bad decisions. Even the president of the Lightning gets charged with DUI whether you go through a checkpoint or not.
