stripper saves boy
Only in Tampa.
Pit bulls and strippers don’t typically go together. But here in Tampa, we got plenty of both, so it’s inevitable that they will cross paths now and again. Chalk one up for the go go girls.
An exotic dancer saved a boy from getting mauled by four pit bulls.
Nine year old Dontae Vincent was being attacked by the pack of dogs. Angel Perez jumped out of her car and attacked those animals with mace. Angel, a real angel, told Tampa Bay’s 10 that she had to do it:
“If that was my baby out there I would want them (strangers) to stop. No one was doing anything for that little boy.”
We here in the Sticks think that Angel is a hero, and a wonderful example of selflessness that is sorely lacking in these parts. Furthermore, Angel’s actions are so much more important than, say, kicking a field goal. Based on that, we think that Mayor Pam Iorio ought to honor Angel Perez with an official day of her own.
Update 3:36pm: Yeah, us and everyone else.

Isn’t she pretty? Inside and out, apparently. I have noticed that the TT seems to like to cover lots of stuff lately with the naked ladies, tattoos, etc. None of which I have anything against … just noticed the extreme # of articles pertaining to same over the last few years. I’m all for whatever gets anyone through the day provided there is no violence or violation of anothers’ rights involved. (of course)
It was kinda awesome to see a genuinely beautiful girl who happens to be a tattooed, exotic dancer take her good heart out of her vehicle and do the right thing. HOW SAD that in Tampa this is so unusual these recent years.
Cool of you to notice it.
(thanks angel, you can come visit us anytime, we LOVE people with big, warm hearts)
Stay beautiful and hold on to that warm heart !

It is the everyday heroes like Ms. Perez that shows the good that we are all capable of. It is these unsung heroes that permit us to live in a decent society. You are right, the government should recognize these individuals as role models for our society, based on their actions not their occupation.

Tampabaymuse mentioned that it’s people like Angel who make it possible to live in a decent society.. and yet look at the girl. She was an unwed teenage mother, she’s of course a stripper, and voxpopuli mentioned the ink. This is a woman who was probably shunned by “decent” society most of her life.
And look at how much she gave to a perfect stranger.
I hope that dude knows what a cool girlfriend he has.
