This holiday is celebrated in many other countries. I was in Cuba 7 years ago for the International Day of the Woman. All of the men give women flowers, take them out to dinner, etc. We went to a party with friends we had made, I was given a corsage, there was a cake and dancing. I still think about it all of the time- one of my favorite travel memories. Thank you for reminding me that today is the day- I will be sure to celebrate!
