voting turnout higher in runoff?
According to the supervisor of elections, turnout in the first two days of early voting for the runoff is 32 percent higher than the same period in the primary election.
Of course the supervisor of elections can barely spell his name, so I wouldn’t count on this.
Assuming it’s true, this bodes well for Gwen Miller - it sounds as if Redner has motivated those that are worried about his participation in city politics.

Don’t be so sure about increased voter turnout helping Gwen Miller. I know a lot of people that didn’t vote last time but will this time in support of Redner. Others voted for other candidates in previous election but will vote for Redner in the runoff.

I think Joe has this one too.

Don’t be so sure Tommy, maybe people are just sick and tired of Miller’s ineptitude. If anything, people are probably motivated to get her out.

I voted yesterday, not the best of choices, but couldn’t stomach another term of Gwen. Anyone want my “I Voted” sticker?
