WHy don’t they just cancel coverage outside the city limits of Tampa? After all, Media General likes to have small town newspapers and Tampa isn’t as big as, say, Jacksonville (city limit population wise).

And to think they were making a big deal about “Tampa Bay Times” this time last year. The phrase “Tampa Bay” invokes regionalism. They’re trying to save money and slowly consolidating regional coverage.
