ybor club closing

Looks like the Ybor dance club Amphitheater will be closing after this weekend. The owner, John Santoro, owes more than $1.8-million in back mortgage and taxes, and a manager there was arrested for being too noisy. Called one of the “clubbiest clubs in club-heavy Ybor,” the Amp wants to grab as much of your dough as they can, so there is a big party there Saturday.

Yeah, I know… but… if you head down to Ybor, why don’t you stop in at the Blue Shark and say hi.  My band -  aka the JGLB will be playing there all night long, and would like to see all of you before we head to Nashville.

If the staff of Amphitheater didn’t skim all the money then they would not be closing and the owners could afford to pay the bills…..
