bobross: [bawb-raws] verb -ed, -es, -ing
To encourage newspaper movie critics to, uh, “move along.”
As in: “The South Florida Sun-Sentinel bobrosses its movie critic..”
They didn’t fire Phoebe Flowers, just asked her to maybe not review movies so much.
Orlando Sentinel’s critic Roger Moore says it is “getting ridiculous” and only a matter of time before he is “covering school board meetings and Alaskan fisheries news.” Critic Rene Rodriguez of the Miami Herald thinks this trend “devalues the importance of the role of the arts…”
You can read movie reviews by Bob Ross right here on Sticks of Fire, and watch video reviews on his website, Bob Ross Movies.
Speaking of which, you can see guest appearances on Bob Ross Movies by Crazed Fan Boy Nolan Canova (summer blockbusters videos) none other than ol’ Wayne Garcia (rated smoking video), who came up with the new verb.

As an artist and intellectual I hope that those involved in the arts and “intellect” recognize this as one of the signs of a crumbling republic. The homeless, the foreclosures, imminent gambling and dependence on same for revenue and the very real disrespect for artists and intellectuals. Of course they wouldn’t want someone intelligent trashing their state-sponsored propaganda.
They’ve already got the media yes-men in place and while some alternative services are stellar, many others are very much part of the problem/plan of this weakening of our republic. Just look around. You might be living the good life still but .. there’s something very wrong with america.
