21, of Lehigh Acres, Fla. in Lee County.
assigned to the 1st Squadron, 33rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky.; killed Dec. 3 when his forward operating base was attacked by enemy forces using mortars in Bayji, Iraq. Shelton is buried at Arlington.
