33, of Margate, Fla.

2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed April 15 when his Humvee struck an improvised explosive device during combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. Also killed were: Lance Cpl. Derrick J. Cothran, Lance Cpl. Justin D. Sims and Pfc. Ryan G. Winslow.

Mayorga moved to the United States in 1991 from Quito, Ecuador, and arranged later for family members to join him. He moved to Broward County in 2001.
