Marine Lance Cpl. Jason K. Burnett
20, of St. Cloud, Fla.
assigned to the 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died May 11 in a vehicle accident in the Anbar province, Iraq. Also killed were Lance Cpl. David J. GramesSanchez, 2nd Lt. Michael L. Licalzi and Cpl. Steve Vahaviolos.

It’s so curious: one can resist tears and ‘behave’ very well in the hardest hours of grief. But then someone makes you a friendly sign behind a window, or one notices that a flower that was in bud only yesterday has suddenly blossomed, or a letter slips from a drawer… and everything collapses.
