With some precipitation this month after an ultra-dry winter and spring, it’s been easy to notice neighbors and businesses going back to their business-as-usual water consumption habits.
We regret to inform the masses that a little rain the last month does not end a drought. Point in fact, Tampa Bay Water has issued a Level III water supply crisis. The lack of significant rainfall (which is supposed to be a daily ritual for Florida this time of year) and the misconception that everyone is free to go back to overconsumption of the wet stuff.
