elijah dukes is my daddy
If you missed the story on Friday, Elijah Dukes has been removed from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He’s not released, but on a “temporary inactive” list while the DRO tries to convince the folks in Durham to take him (they’d previously said no thanks).
In honor of his departure, I’ve recorded a short ditty envisioning life as one of his many, many children. It’s in 12/8 time! As in, “by the end of the season he’ll have 12 kids by 8 mothers.”
