Lt. Col. Peter E. Winston
56, of Plant City, Fla.
assigned to the 143rd Sustainment Command, Orlando, Fla.; died Nov. 13 in Kaiserslautern, Germany, from a non-combat related incident while in Iraq.
The incident is under investigation.

Rodger McClellan remembers Winston as someone unfailingly friendly, who loved the church, his family, his old cars - and, especially, the U.S. Army.
